The Lucky Mouse

There went a yucky mouse, 

into a lucky house...

She did not stay long

Though she was strong

The broom was long

And the fatigue stronger

Though the lights were bright

The cat was upstairs

But for as long as the night 

She didn't hunger

The somebody loved mice...

and the cheese was divine

And patter-pitter out 

Went the lucky Mouse

The door was shut,

And everyone slumbered.
